Feb 2016 Hike

Crisp air & bright skies greeted us on the trail == which originally was a Colonial New York "Turnpike" in Rockland County. Hikers were John, Mike, Tom, Dhruv,Jason,Peter, Ben (& Howie --behind the camera)

Arriving at the pre-determined campsite, it was time to settle in ---here we are using a backpack saw to cut a section of dead log for a campfire backrest.

Firewood collected, campfire underlined with stones, backrests in place == time to relax before dinner.

Quiet time after another enjoyable day on the trail --- relaxing with a friend at a peaceful site in the

great outdoors...and maybe thinking about homework or yardwork waiting back home upon our return...
